Durvant Material Handling Solutions Group Announces Withdrawal From LogiMAT 2020

05/03/2020

Duravant operating companies FMH Conveyors and motion06 cancel participation at LogiMAT 2020 in Stuttgart due to the evolving global health risks posed by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Downers Grove, IL — March 4, 2020 — Duravant has been closely monitoring the evolving situation following the Novel Coronavirus outbreak. Due to the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 infection, Duravant’s Material Handling operating companies, FMH Conveyors and motion06 announce their withdrawal from exhibiting and participating in LogiMAT 2020, scheduled March 10-12, 2020, in Stuttgart.

“The health and safety of our customers and employees is always our highest priority,” said Mike Kachmer, President and CEO of Duravant. “We highly value the opportunities this important industry event affords us to interact with our customers, partners and guests. We recognize, however, the important responsibility we have as global citizens to do all we can to help secure public well-being during this health emergency.”

FMH Conveyors and motion06 are offering alternative engagement options to customers through on-line meetings and webinars. Material handling specialists will be available to provide virtual product introductions and demos upon request.

“This is not a decision we have taken lightly,” said Georg Waldmueller, Group President, Duravant Material Handling Solutions EMEA & APAC. “We were looking forward to showcasing our breadth of product solutions in Stuttgart, but we believe that the most responsible business decision is to withdraw from the event.”

Duravant and our Material Handling Solutions group operating companies, FMH Conveyors and motion06, look forward to attending and supporting future LogiMAT events.
