LogiMAT – the 18th international trade fair for intralogistics repairs and process management is canceled because of an official order.
Despite the coronavirus problem, the LogiMAT organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, the Landesmesse Stuttgart and the responsible official services were sure about the feasibility of the LogiMAT in Stuttgart. According to the Esslingen Health Office there was no increased risk for exhibitors and visitors.
In meantime, the risk of infection with the coronavirus is increasing in Germany, especially in the region of Stuttgart. The responsible regulatory agency in Leinfelden-Echterdingen ordered to cancel the LogiMAT 2020 at 5:17 p.m. today.
“This is bitter because LogiMAT Stuttgart is very important for the global intralogistics industry. The cancellation of LogiMAT 2020 due to external, unforeseeable circumstances is a novelty in its 18-year history. Despite great efforts, we could not find an other suitable date for a later event in 2020 with the Landesmesse Stuttgart. Therefor we decided to cancel the LogiMAT 2020,” explains Christoph Huss, the leading partner of EUROEXPO.
The next LogiMAT will take place in Stuttgart from March 9th to 11th 2021.
